Don’t Lose Hope receives no Government funding with which to provide our services and we must therefore charge a fee. However, our mission is to provide an accessible, affordable counselling service for the whole community.
Fee scale based on annual income per annum:
- under £12k = 8 sessions free
- between £12k – £20k = £10 per session
- between £20k – £30k = £25 per session
- over £30k = £35 per session
To receive free or £10 sessions we will require evidence of benefits and/or income.
Ongoing Appointments
Ongoing appointments begin as soon as possible after the initial assessment. Due to our limited resources there may be a waiting period. At your initial consultation we will inform you of how long you should expect to be waiting. Once you begin ongoing counselling you will be meeting with the same professional counsellor on a regular basis.
Cancellation of Appointments
If, after confirming an appointment, you realise that you are unable to attend, you are kindly asked to contact us and let us know. There is a huge demand for our limited services and if the appointment time doesn’t work for you it could be offered to someone else who is waiting. There will be a charge of £25 for sessions cancelled within 24hrs of the session start.
Fees are payable by card or cash.
