Adult and Young Person Counsellor
In life we can all lose our way. This can lead to anxiety, depression, confusion, low self-esteem and other negative thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
I work as a person centered counsellor, as such I believe in my clients ability when offered the right conditions, to find their solutions from within. Events and influence in life can make realising this difficult, which is where I would like to help.
I would like to offer a safe and supportive environment where you the client can be heard without fear of judgement or bias. A space to explore your feelings, with the aim of gaining a better understanding of yourself, in the hope of enabling you to make decisions that will positively impact your life and wellbeing.
I have worked with 16-18 year olds in an educational setting.
I currently work with Don’t Lose Hope offering counselling in their centre and at a local secondary school.
I did training with Cruse bereavement and continue to volunteer with them remotely.
